Navratri, which translates to ‘nine nights‘, honors the divine feminine energy or Shakti. During these nine nights and ten days, devotees worship various forms of the Goddess Durga, each representing different facets of feminine power.

Commencing on April 9th, this auspicious occasion holds immense spiritual significance, coinciding with the renewal of nature and the cosmic energies following the solar eclipse. It is a time for introspection, purification, and awakening, guided by the divine presence of Goddess Durga and her embodiment of pure feminine energy, Shakti – the force that creates, nurtures, grows and fiercely defends. 

Goddess Durga illuminates the profound truth that the turmoil, adversity, and pain we encounter are often rooted within ourselves, urging us to commence the journey of cleansing negativity from within rather than seeking external solutions. She teaches us that we are at our best and at our most powerful when we recognize, acknowledge and accept all aspects of ourselves while connecting with our own Divinity.

‘Awaken SHAKTI Within‘ is my special offering for Navratri! During these sessions we will focus on cultivating self-awareness while learning the deeper symbolic meanings of the 8 arms, the weapons and the vehicle of Goddess Durga. We will explore the 9 forms of Goddess Durga, invoking their energies and focusing on the chakras they activate. Each day will be enriched with a deeper meditation to access deeper states of consciousness, invoking the Divine powers of Goddess Durga within and connecting with our own Divinity.
