Our emotions and thoughts are the foundation of mindful living. Cultivating presence, acceptance and allowing our emotions to flow freely while experiencing those moments of pause are the doorway to artful living.

My creative journey has been quite exhilarating. What started as a therapy to take my mind off my bodily pains in order to find some comfort while weaning from the prescription medicines which literally made me feel like a zombie, took an interesting turn when I mindfully chose to explore my inner landscape, open the delicate petals of my soul one at a time and paint my own ‘Mindful Intuitions’. That very day I set foot on an uncharted territory and my ‘journey within’, as I like to call it, began.

Mindfulness taught me to be fully present in each moment and observe from a place of love and compassion, letting go of my fears and anxieties to allow the many blessings of the Universe to flow into my life. Meditation taught me to silence the chatter of my mind, be still in the moment and experience life in all its glory as it unfolds. The evolution of my soul became inevitable, and the vision became clearer as I walked ‘THE PATH’ that led me to the Divine within and expressed my soul with colours and textures, painting my intuitions.

Allow me to take you on a journey within and find that deeper connection with your soul through meditative art. Yes, I am a firm believer in ‘Meditation Through Art’ as my soul showed me ‘THE PATH’ to ‘THE LIGHT WITHIN’ through my artwork’.

 

Objectives of ‘Art Is Therapy – Express Your Soul’ Sessions

  • Develop healthy self-awareness as engagement in visual arts cultivates mindfulness
  • Foster self-love Increase self-esteem
  • Reduce anxiety by focusing on breathwork and using guided breaths to create soulful art
  • Enhance soul power
  • Find balance
  • Combat depression, anxiety and chronic pains
  • Assist with digital detoxification
  • Calm the self-critic by providing non-judgmental environment
  • Identify and eliminate creative blocks
  • Inculcate, support and foster mindful art practice
  • Bring the concept of ‘Mediation Through Art’ to the doorsteps of those who are willing to express their soul through art for deeper healing and cultivating stillness
