There are moments in life when everything as we know it crumbles, and we are left standing amidst the ruins of our old self, questioning our very existence. March 2016 was one such time for me. I was completely bedridden, consumed by the excruciating pain of rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. Every movement was a battle, every breath a reminder of my suffering. Countless prescription drugs and narcotics were administered in hopes of relief and numbing the pain, but nothing seemed to work – some even triggered severe allergic reactions.

Then came Methotrexate. This chemotherapy drug entered my life in March 2017, promising relief but delivering something entirely different. I felt like a zombie, my hair fell out in clumps, and my body continued to deteriorate. Emotionally and mentally, I was barely holding on. My children struggled to witness my suffering, their innocent hugs bringing unbearable pain. The heartbreak in their eyes fueled a fire within me – I knew something had to change. The time was now.

I made a radical decision: No more Plan B. If I was going to heal, I had to direct all my energy toward one goal – breaking free from the pain that had consumed my life.

Sometimes, rock bottom is the solid foundation upon which we build our greatest transformation.

 

Art, Intuition, and the Birth of a New Life

As everything around me seemed to fall apart, something profound was awakening within me. Through the pain, I turned to meditative art, mindfulness, and energy healing. What started as an outlet for emotional turmoil became a revelation – I was telling a story through my art, a story my soul was guiding me to express.

In this process of creation and surrender, a question surfaced: “Who am I?” I no longer felt connected to my given name, nor the identity I once clung to. Unbeknownst to me, I was experiencing a rebirth. And from the ashes of my past, like a phoenix, Mindful Intuitions was born in December 2017.

Something must crumble before something new can rise. Surrender to the flow of life – it will always take you where you are meant to go.

 

The Universe Speaks in Numbers

Recently, as I was clearing out my medicine cabinet, I came across my old Methotrexate injections. Before bagging them up for safe disposal at the local pharmacy, I felt an inexplicable urge to take a photo. Something about it caught my attention, and as I zoomed in, I noticed something quite intriguing – the prescription date.

  • 1+7 = 8 → Revelation of karmic patterns, unlimited growth, and abundance.
  • 1+7+3 = 20 → 2+0 = 2 → Balance, harmony of divine masculine and feminine energies.
  • 2+0+1+7 = 10 → 1+0 = 1 → New beginnings, creation, a new cycle of opportunities.
  • 1+7+3+2+0+1+7 = 30 → 3+0 = 3 → Divine support, spiritual expansion, and creativity.

Had I understood these messages back then, I would have been better prepared for the revelation of karmic patterns, deep karmic cleansing, expansion, and blessings that followed as I explored my soul through mindful art. Numbers are everywhere, guiding us, revealing our path, the million-dollar question is – “Are we listening?”.

The universe is always communicating with us – through signs, symbols, and numbers. Are you paying attention?

Choosing to grow mindfully

The year 2020 is a sacred landmark in the history of mankind and marks the beginning of a new era of enlightenment, revelations, synchronicities and transformations. For me personally, it marks my rebirth on a new spiritual level. 

My passion for personal development, growth and ‘LIFE’ itself coupled with the uncertainty lurking during COVID 19 urged me to take the lockdown time to deal with the chaos within amidst the chaos in the outside world. Staying home during the lockdown has been a blessing in its truest sense for me as it gave me the much needed time for self reflection, self realization and self actualization. Self love and self compassion have been on my priority list lately as I connected deeply with my inner child. 

In an attempt to live the life of our dreams, at times we feel so burdened and overwhelmed that we forget to live life itself. This puts us in a vicious cycle of anxiety and stress to a point that for some even life becomes a burden. Coupled with the uncertainty of the global pandemic crisis, I found that most people around me were struggling to cope with the daily stresses of life. I soon realized that practicing mindfulness and meditation was keeping me and my family afloat whereas creative outlets allowed us to express our soul and keep us connected to our inner being.

Looking at the brighter side of life, spreading our roots, nourishing our soul, blossoming and growing, no matter how adverse the circumstances might be, is an art which when learnt brings immense inner growth and transformation. Recognizing our own gifts and harnessing our soul power to illuminate not just our life but our entire surroundings takes courage and a grateful heart. During the lockdown, I launched a virtual Mindful ‘YOU’ Peaceful ‘YOU’ Program to provide children, youth and adults with the tools and practices to foster and sustain self-awareness and self-compassion in order to bring positive changes within themselves and their community at large through intuitive art and guided meditation. Deep healing and profound inner connection occurs when we learn to consciously slow down and focus on living in the present moment. 

We are blessed with an abundance of time in the current global scenario. Focusing on creating space in our lives for something new to emerge is a true blessing. Strongly believing in this, I took the time of lockdown to go within and immerse in the beauty of the creatively visualized magical forest where I connected with nurturing Mother Earth, grounding myself in the present moment, experiencing Heavenly Bliss and recreating those magical moments on canvas using colours. I created artwork that expressed my deepest feelings and desires and participated in the first ever National Arts Drive turning the lawn and the porch of my house into a beautiful gallery for my community. 

The global pandemic created time for us all to self-reflect and make mindful choices in the present moment. During this time, I choose to invite gratitude in my life in all that I do and practice social distancing to help our health care system to better deal with the current situation and to help flatten the curve. Trusting my guidance and intuition, I made some decisions, immersed myself in energy healing and guided meditation and my personal life started feeling more in flow and I was more in sync with my inside world. My journey to exploring the depths of my soul took an interesting turn and I headed into a new phase of spiritual growth; least did I know that the most magical part of the journey was about to begin during these uncertain times with me treading uncharted waters and frequently stepping out of my comfort zone.

What started as an adventurous journey of self-discovery has actually brought profound healing and deep relaxation. My perception of the world changed as I opened my heart to receive the blessings of the universe. Today, I feel strongly connected to the Universal Life Force as I found profound peace and comfort in being connected with Reiki energy healing. This loving and healing energy has brought about complete transformation opening my heart to the love and bounties of the Universe, allowing me to bring light to the souls around me.

Covid-19 taught us all some valuable lessons. Embrace the positive changes that we see in the world today as Mother Earth heals and be inspired by her ability to bounce back and rejuvenate. Soak in her beauty and restore your own soul.

Let’s choose mindfully! Let’s choose to grow whilst practicing social distancing. Let’s find beauty in turbulent times that we are all faced with. Let’s welcome the numerous blessings and opportunities that lie amidst the chaos. Let’s cultivate the attitude of gratitude and expand our hearts inviting and appreciating a more abundant life as the Earth heals during this global pandemic. Let’s take this time to express our deep gratitude for Mother Earth while reflecting on our own abilities and positive attributes to ignite the spark within the deepest darkest moments. “Gratitude Habitat” is the mantra of this new era! Let’s chant it, together!

Exploring & Expressing Your Soul

Art therapy is a uniquely creative way to connect with your inner being, listen to the whispers of your soul and express its depth through the use of colours. Research indicates that art therapy helps improve communication and concentration besides reducing feelings of isolation. It leads to self-esteem, confidence and self-awareness. Finding answer to a pressing question, “Who am I?” 

Did you know that I sign my artwork as Mindful Intuitions and don’t use my given name?

Ever wondered who you are? Identity crisis is real and believe it or not, many of us face the question “Who am I?” at some point in our lives.

2020 has been a rocking year for me so far, personally. The transformation, as I know it, began a few years ago when I mindfully chose to let go of my given name and not associate it with my artwork. That was my first step towards the transformational healing journey that I set my foot on, not knowing where I am heading but having this gut wrenching feeling of detaching my art from my given name, losing myself the way the world knows me and beginning the quest to finding the answer to a pressing question, “Who am I?” At that point in time I had no clue how deeply impacted I will be as I embark on this journey in the unknown realms of my being.

What began merely as a healing journey, an attempt to explore the depths of my being, a conscious effort to explore my emotions and use textures to express those deeper feelings on the canvas, brought awareness and led me on the path to spiritual awakening. What started as an adventurous journey of self-discovery has actually brought profound healing and deep relaxation. My perception of the world changed as I opened my heart to receive the blessings of the universe.

The journey of painting my Mindful Intuitions seems to have just begun…

As I dive into the deep uncharted territory of the deepest layers of my soul, I become fully awake in every moment of my being. Awareness of breath takes me on a magical journey of exploring the deep emotions and creatively expressing them through intuitive art. This brings deep relaxation and awakening, unfolding the mysteries of life as I walk in faith and learn to surrender. Guided mindfulness meditation, breathwork, healing mantras, Reiki energy healing, chakra balancing  and energy clearing whilst allowing my intuition to be expressed through colours are a part of my healing routine and help me raise my vibrations to connect with my highest self.

A mindful journey to cultivating true happiness

Happiness is the blissful feeling of content and joy experienced when our life fulfills our needs and when life is just as it should be. We can always stay in the state of happiness if we develop emotional intelligence and a growth mindset. This shift will allow us to harness the power of our minds so as to feel happy within, independently of the state of our outside world. Happiness doesn’t happen by accident but is cultivated and nurtured through mindful living and peaceful thinking. True happiness, when found within, creates space for enriched experiences in life allowing us to reach our full potential stepping into a purposeful life. 

Let’s embark on a mindful journey to cultivating true happiness, together!

  • Identifying our true desires
    We all have many desires and in our quest to fulfill them we create suffering for our soul. Our desires are much influenced by the souls around us or in other words, the people in our lives, in one way or the other. Our very attachment to such desires zaps our joy and we become slaves to them. Diving deep into our souls through mindfulness meditation, the act of creating stillness in our minds, we can discover or identify our soul’s true desires, focusing on which will lead us to the path of true happiness.
  • Releasing our limiting beliefs and patterns
    Underneath the deepest layers of our soul lies true happiness. Peel the layers of limiting beliefs, habits and patterns that we form on the Divine Blueprint of our soul as we go through the journey of our soul. As we do so, we release all that doesn’t serve us or is not for our higher good and walk into light embracing the new beginnings. We get aligned with who we are based on our Divine Blueprint and anchor ourselves within. This doesn’t happen overnight. It takes a lot of patience and will power to make those innumerable trips diving into the depths of our soul, identifying and letting go of limiting beliefs, patterns and conditioning, rewiring for joy, creating space for the Universal Life Force to work through us.
  • Developing our new identity
    Mindful willingness to step into the uncharted territory learning a whole new set of thoughts, beliefs and emotions can open doors to endless possibilities. Consciously slipping into the growth mindset whilst aligning our thoughts and feelings so that they are consistent brings shifts in our energy as thoughts are the language of our mind and feelings are the language of our body. Embracing these shifts and willingly developing our new identity within sets us on the path of unparalleled success and true happiness.
  • Learning to control our emotions
    Emotions lead to actions and actions lead to results. Learning to control our emotions so that they work for us and not against us, cutting the cords with the past memories and not stressing about the future whilst bringing all our focus to the present moment allows us to create space for experiencing true happiness in the present moment. Discovering the power of forgiveness for ourselves and for others sets our soul free by allowing us to let go of what may be holding us back from true happiness.
  • Reclaiming our power
    Practicing emotional self-control sets us on the journey to reclaiming our power back. We become anchored in the present moment, unleash true happiness and experience heavenly bliss. We experience freedom from all bondages. Our spirit becomes free of burdens from the past and the worries of the future whilst enjoying true happiness as we create more balance in our life unleashing our joy, walking on the path to unlimited happiness.

Creative Path to Awareness

Practicing mindfulness helps us combat the negative feelings that lead to stress and resultant inflammation in our bodies. Most of the time, stress seeps into our lives unknowingly and by the time we realize that it is there, we are already dealing with symptoms that follow. Worries about job, financial security, relationships at home or at work and health of self or loved ones are amongst  the daily stresses of life which severely impacts our immune system. Stress is an immunosuppressant and a compromised immune system is an open invitation to bodily inflammation and innumerable health problems. Most often we hear people around us saying that they are seeing specialists for their health concerns and are getting frustrated as they are getting vague answers to their deteriorating health. A compromised immune system leaves us vulnerable to common infections as well as opens the pandora box of auto-immune disorders. 

Training our immune system to combat the stress is the need of the hour and vital for our existence. Mindfulness can be practiced and incorporated in our daily lives  in very simple ways, helping us boost our immune system. It provides us with simple stress management tools.

  1. Eating Mindfully
    The gut-brain connection is very powerful and stress shuts down our digestive system bringing down our immunity as our bodies won’t get the proper nourishment from food making us more susceptible to autoimmune disorders. Simply focusing our attention on our food, the aroma, the texture, the flavour, the temperature, the colours and the sense of being present in the moment helps improve the production of the digestive juices in our bodies, helping us to better digest our food while allowing our bodies to be nourished with the food we eat. Avoiding distraction and the use of technology while eating also helps us form a healthy gut-brain connection.  

  1. Walking Mindfully
    Connecting with mother nature, listening to the sounds of nature and being present in the moment has a calming effect on our mind, body and spirit. Filling our lungs with oxygen, feeling the ground under our feet with every step we take, hearing the sounds of nature like the birds chirping or the water flowing or just the wind blowing creates sensations that bring calm, peace and stillness of thoughts while recharging our minds. We become observers of the bounties of the universe and a whole new world of possibilities opens up. Stress vanishes making way for acceptance, peace and calm as we realize that we are just a part of this amazing universe.

  1. Observing the Breath
    Focusing on our breath and observing it while taking the attention inside helps release stress instantly. Paying attention to the natural rhythmic breathing allows us to become one with the lifeforce while taking our attention out of our mind and into our body. We drop our worries, fear, anxiety instantly and feel connected within. Our thoughts come to a stand still as we realize that we are not our thoughts but a divine soul. Breathing deeply, filling our lungs with oxygen increases the supply of oxygen in the brain and reaching a state of deep calm is a great stress buster. Feel connected to the universe inside us as well as the one outside, one breath at a time.

  1. Connecting with Senses
    Our senses connect us to the present moment. Mindfully connecting with them brings a sense of peace and calm amidst the chaos of daily life. Pausing our thoughts to smell the morning coffee, feel the warmth of the coffee mug or just the feeling of being can help set the tone of our day. Feeling the breeze touch our face, smelling the fragrance of the flowers or simply soaking in the sunshine while allowing your heart to expand to receive the bountiful blessings of the universe has a calming effect while reducing the levels of stress and inflammation in our bodies. Pause… Connect… Feel… Receive… Put love and attention into the daily mundane tasks of life and invite bliss.

  1. Observing Thoughts
    Being aware of our thoughts, observing them mindfully and non-judgmentally, allowing them to come and go while resisting the temptation to  associate ourselves with them allows us to form deeper connections with ourselves. We are not our thoughts but mere observers of our thoughts. Being mindful of our self-talk as it is the conversation with the universe, helps us put things in perspective. Our destiny is a result of our thoughts. Recreating our destiny with the power and positivity of our thoughts puts us in control of our destiny therefore reducing the stress levels considerably.

  1. Expressing Emotions
    Allowing ourselves space to consciously process and understand our emotions helps us respond emotionally rather than having emotional reactions. Following our passions and allowing ourselves to express our deepest emotions in a creative way, whether it’s through creative writing or pursuing any form of art, helps us combat the negative feelings of stress and anxiety. Mindfully practicing being creative allows us to boost our immune system by reducing stress as it invites joy and pleasure in our lives.

  1. Mindfulness Meditation
    Embracing life as it comes, quieting our thoughts, deepening our relationship with our inner selves while connecting our mind, body and spirits through mindful meditation focusing on deep breathing and relaxation helps combat the negative feelings of hopelessness, despair, uncertainty and the fear of unforeseen. Mindfulness meditation disconnects us from our past experiences and uncertainty of the future while bringing the focus back to the present moment, allowing us to scan through our current feelings and emotions, put things in perspective and equipping us with a better understanding of who we are as a soul. We embark on a journey to rediscover our own values rather than the values of the society and better connect with the outside world while deepening our connection with the world within us. Stress disappears giving way to a heightened sense of self awareness.

  1. Attitude of Gratitude
    Immense gratitude paves way for immaculate immunity. Increase in positive emotions, vitality and a deepened sense of satisfaction are the amazing side-effects of wearing an attitude of gratitude. Being thankful for all the things in life whether big or small and expressing our appreciation for the bounties of the universe allows us to change our perspective towards anything and everything in life, paving way for increased optimism, tolerance, joy, pleasure and overall emotional well-being while reducing anger, resentment, intolerance, stress and overall feeling of despair. We are less bothered by our bodily pains and our immune system improves as we live life intentionally, being grateful for everything in our lives.

Remember, stress is an indispensable part of life that affects us all in one way or the other but it’s our reaction to the outside stressors that counts. Everyday we have a choice to be mindful, achieve a calmer state of mind, build greater resilience and better equip ourselves to face life. Our immune system will thank us!

I immersed myself in the world of colours and creativity to find some recite when the going got tougher. Least did I know that I am embarking on a journey of not just healing my body but my mind and soul too. Art became a gateway into mindfulness and I started painting my own Mindful Intuitions.

My artwork inspires me to keep growing and living a more genuine, loving and meaningful life. Soon, I started realizing that it is by going deep into the ocean of my own inner self that I was discovering the real treasures of life. By accepting the ceaseless sounds of the waves of thoughts in my head, by focusing on the sounds themselves and then eventually embracing them by living in the moment changed the very fundamentals of my life; inviting peace, calm and serenity in my life. I was on the path of finding the real treasures of life glittering amidst the calming waves of the ocean. Life whispered, “Enjoy the moment! Let it be!

My healing journey encouraged me to calm my body and mind amidst the daily chatter of thought while staying light-hearted and keeping a positive outlook towards life. My creative adventures took my mind on a journey into realms less known to the ordinary. The steps that led me on my mindful journey guided by my creativity bringing healing can be followed by anyone who is on a quest to finding their true selves. 

  1. Practicing Mindfulness
    Practicing Mindfulness includes but is not limited to
    • Acceptance
      Focusing on the present rather than dwelling on the mistakes of the past or worrying about the hypothetical outcomes of the future invites acceptance in our lives. When we accept whatever good or bad that has happened to us without any judgement, realizing that those adversities were not stumbling blocks but stepping stones that helped us grow and be where we are today, we invite peace and calm in our lives.
    • Awareness
      Becoming aware of our environment as well as events, possibilities and potentialities within our environment helps us tune ourselves to better understand how to channelize our energy. Awareness opens many doors of possibilities of enhanced growth.
    • Releasing Stress
      Focusing on breath has innumerable benefits. Pausing, quieting the mind and focusing on breathing for a couple minutes brings the focus back to the present moment enhancing our ability to perform our tasks better. This releases stress and directly affects our overall performance.
    • Releasing Fear
      Putting things in perspective and looking at our obstacles as stepping stones releases the fear of uncertainty allowing us to manage our tasks in hand much more efficiently and effectively. Setting smaller manageable goals can actually be motivating and help alleviate fear.
    • Setting Intentions
      Mindfulness helps us embrace who we are in the present moment and this leads us to set intentions about the work we do. Embracing the present moment helps us accept and fall in love with the change as the change inspires new ideas to implement in a work environment, in turn boosting our performance at work.

  1. Guided Meditation
    Guided meditation promotes relaxation, reduces stress and related problems, helps manage pains while promoting mental, emotional and physical healing. Meditation is a great tool to manage stress and enhance self-awareness as it helps gain a new perspective on a stressful situation while reducing negative emotions.

  1. Exploring Inner Landscape
    When we turn inwards, we begin to explore who we are as a person. This helps us discover areas that need our focus and attention. We choose colours that speak to us in that particular moment and for each one of us, the choice of colours is different and so is the focus of our painting which when created reflects our inner landscape.

  1. Expressing and Releasing Emotions
    Pretending, avoiding, and denying uncomfortable emotions in an effort of self-preservation as a defense mechanism is normal human behaviour. When we use colours, textures, symbols and mark making to express the depths of our soul, we bring what’s hidden inside out on the canvas. This helps us process our emotions and move the energy of emotion through and out the body so we can let it go and promote healing.

Finding inner peace and calm through art

Our emotions and thoughts are the foundation of mindful living. Cultivating presence, acceptance and allowing our emotions to flow freely while experiencing those moments of pause as the doorway to artful living. 

My creative journey has been quite exhilarating. What started as a therapy to take my mind off my bodily pains in order to find some comfort while weaning from the prescription medicines which literally made me feel like a zombie, took an interesting turn when I chose to not associate my given name with my artwork and instead sign my artwork as ‘Mindful Intuitions’. That very day I set foot on an uncharted territory and my ‘journey within’, as I like to call it, began.

The 5 Steps to Mindfulness Through Art that sum up my creative and spiritual journey can be followed by every soul that is on a quest to find inner peace and calm through art. 

  1. ‘NOW’ is the Moment! Cultivate Presence! Allowing ourselves to create art in the moment, expressing our emotions in the ‘NOW’ moment is the beginning of letting go of control and trusting the process. Letting the mindful art begin, watching it’s flow, shushing our thoughts to experience the calm it brings to our mind, body and soul is an art in itself – art of living in the moment. Cultivate Presence!

  2. Mistakes are Opportunities! Invite Awareness! The mere thought of making our first marks on the blank canvas brings uncertainty, fear of making mistakes and makes us question our decision of exploring our emotions as that opens the doorway to vulnerability. Create anyway! Being vulnerable and allowing ourselves to make those mistakes is an opportunity to be aware of our emotions and know ourselves better so as to move towards healing. Invite Awareness!

  3. Enjoy that Risk! Create Abundance! Being aware of the obstacles allows us to question our beliefs. We clearly see ourselves living a life full of excuses induced by the fear of stepping outside our comfort zones and risking wandering in the uncharted territories. Step outside anyway! Colours speak the language of our soul and our art becomes a true reflection of our internal landscape when we start enjoying these risks and invite transformation. Let’s believe that we are worthy of living a life full of love, joy, peace and tranquility that creativity brings. Create Abundance!

  4. Experience the Joy! Make the Mark! Inhaling abundance and exhaling fear translates to pure joy, the vibration of which can be felt in all the chakras, the energy centers of our body. Let’s splatter the paint on the canvas, sprinkle that glitter while watching that artwork of ours’ evolve and come to life as we intentionally make those marks which will not only connect our souls with our artwork but also of the ones who see our creation. Choosing our words, actions and thoughts wisely give us immense power to not only shape our life but also to make a difference in that of others around us. Thoughts are powerful! Make the Mark!

  5. Change is Inevitable! Embrace the Change! Our choices determine the path we take to manifest our dreams. Transforming our thoughts, one thought at a time, brings a huge shift in energy around us and the change becomes inevitable. Our growth is eminent and this shift becomes the very foundation of our spiritual growth. This transformation affects us at all levels of consciousness – personality, thought and feelings. We feel and realize at a profound level our interconnectedness with all that is around us, knowing we are one as energy. Embrace the Change!

Finding New ‘ME’

Having been an optimist since childhood, I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs in life. I’ve touched my lows and have bounced back to face life with renewed hope. What couldn’t break me definitely made me stronger as each new day came with a new challenge. Life hasn’t been a bed of roses and I’m sure many of you can relate with me atleast in this aspect. I have shed innumerable tears, been through heartache and had fallen face first a few times in the so-called field of life. I have been through crippling pains and saw my medical file being transferred from one specialist to another for years just to hear that the pain was in my head. Two surgeries and medications that made me feel like a zombie sent fears down my spine as I raised two young children with my husband by my side. But when life couldn’t break me, it misunderstood me and I found myself in a deep black hole with no ray of hope. It was then that I turned towards expressing myself through art. 

Holding a brush was very painful due to physical pains my body just couldn’t endure but something in me kept that warrior spirit alive. I turned towards some techniques learnt during high school and started creating my own texture paste to slather on the canvas with palette knives to create interesting textures which had their own bumps just like my life had at that moment in time. Soon I developed my own style and kept experimenting with different kinds of textures made from things that were readily available around my house. There was spark in my eyes and I had found a way to express my soul. Colours started to speak to me and I found myself being attracted to the metallics and sparkles. I had found new ‘ME’ and I started spreading the sparkles through my artwork. Every artwork of mine had a little sparkle of my new found self giving ‘HOPE’ to people who would connect with my artwork. This brought immense joy and peace to my heart. Life was not the same as something had changed within me; something that gave me hope and courage to look beyond my pains while giving me a platform to safely express my deepest feelings and emotions.

I mindfully chose to let go of my given name and not associate it with my artwork, hiding behind the name ‘Mindful Intuitions’ and stepping into the world of transformation and deep healing.. This was my first step in an uncharted territory but my determination and willingness to trust the process had a snowball effect and slowly I found myself managing my physical pains without the prescription drugs. Slowly, I weaned myself off the over the counter painkillers as I started practicing mindfulness and learnt to live in the moment.

Life was different and interesting at the same time as I was thinking outside the box, painting my ‘Mindful Intuitions’ and expressing them in words as well. Each artwork that I created carried an inspirational message and I started writing that message to spread the sparkles not just through my art but also through uplifting words for whosoever needed a little inspiration to pull through ‘LIFE’. This burning desire to spread inspiration through my art and make it affordable at the same time,  inspired me to use my graphic design skills to create inspirational art cards of my original artwork and I’ve never looked back since then. These inspirational art cards have brought joy to many wonderful souls in turn bringing immense joy and peace to my soul. Today, I have a collection of such inspirational art cards which are spreading their sparkles around and uplifting souls. 

Art, mindful living and my burning desire to spread some sparkles around has lit up my path and I can confidently say, ‘THE JOURNEY HAS JUST BEGUN’…

Focusing Within

We radiate positivity and the golden rays of our spiritually awakened soul spreads around us creating an aura of gratitude and appreciation for the bounties and blessings of the universe. Being creative, living in the moment and appreciating the beauty of the present moment while bringing the awareness to my breath helps me attained a heightened awareness of my soulful journey. Art connects me with my spiritual side at a much deeper level, especially when I am creating art in a safe, non-judgmental environment; expressing the depths of my soul through textures and colours. The real power lies in taking the focus within and connecting with the “Eternal Love” that’s within each one of us.
